Two Men Injured in Vehicle Shooting in Hybla Valley

Police currently have no information on the suspect in Saturday's shooting.

The police are currently investigating a shooting reported in the Hybla Valley area Saturday, according to a news release from the Fairfax County Police Department.

Officers responded to a call about the shooting around 12:15 a.m. Saturday in the 7900 block of Janna Lee Avenue. Several rounds were fired at a vehicle that had just pulled into the parking lot in the area, according to police.


Two men in the vehicle at the time of the shooting were struck by gunfire. They have non-life threatening injuries. One victim, a 22-year-old Alexandria man, was struck in the lower leg. The other victim, a 28-year-old Woodbridge man was struck in the lower body and upper leg.

Police do not have any information about the suspect at this time and the case is still under investigation.
