Students shared their knowledge of historical figures at the fourth annual wax museum.
Weird Al, Neil Armstrong, George Washington, Mia Hamm, and other modern and historical figures made special appearances Tuesday at the St. Louis School Wax Museum. Fifth grade students portrayed actors, singers, athletes, presidents, and other historical and modern figures. Students had approximately two months to prepare for the event, which involved reading a biography about their chosen subject and filling out an outline survey with talking points about their person, said fifth grade teacher Meaghan Leslie. “They could choose anyone in the world,” Leslie said. “As long as there’s a biography of the person, they could do it.” On Tuesday, students dressed as "their" person and shared their presentation with classmates.
