UPDATE, Wednesday 6:40 p.m.: The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for Fairfax County from 6:30 p.m. until Thursday at 2 a.m. The county is also under a wind advisory until Thursday at 6 a.m. ---- The week's wacky winter weather — freezing rain Monday that closed or delayed some schools in Northern Virginia and highs Tuesday that reached nearly 70 degrees — continues Wednesday. Fairfax County is under a Flash Flood Watch (from 3 p.m. Wednesday until late in the evening), according to the National Weather Service.
