A planned sushi bar in Alexandria with an 18-and-over policy is causing a stir.
There are a few restaurants where you wouldn't take small children. Maybe the waitresses wear shirts that are too tight, or the crowd gets a little rowdy on game night. I have teenagers and love the idea of leaving them at home. They are old enough to babysit and charge way less than $18/hr and would be happy to babysit other parents who need a date night. I will go to this restaurant if the food is good, and especially knowing it will be quiet.
