Help a Child at Huntington Community Center's Angel Tree

The Angel Tree is on display at the community center with many gift suggestions from local children.

The Huntington Community Center is helping local children with what they are calling an Angel Tree this holiday season. The Angel Tree is up and filled with gift suggestions from neighborhood children. "The children decorated their angels and put them on the tree with something they want or need under $20," said Elisa Velasco, the center's assistant director. Those interested in donating a gift can stop by the center during regular hours Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. Gifts must be dropped off at the center by Dec. 20, so the children can receive them by Dec. 21.
