Obama Campaign to Open Office in Alexandria Saturday
Office will be 15th for Obama campaign in Virginia.
It seems like President Obama isn't taking any chances when it comes to trying to win over Virginia voters in the fall. In what will be the president's 15th campaign office in the Old Dominion for the 2012 presidential election, the Obama campaign will open an office Saturday in Alexandria, according to the Alexandria Democratic Committee. A grand opening is set for Saturday from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the office located at 1400 Duke St., at the corner of Duke and West streets, across the street from the original Shiloh Baptist Church. Former DNC Chairman Terry McAuliffe, who has hinted at a run for governor, will speak to volunteers and guests at the grand opening, according to the committee website.
