Mount Vernon Jewelers Sets Up Shop on Route 1

A longtime jeweler has settled into new digs at Potomac Square Shopping Center.

Mount Vernon Jewelers has settled into a new location in the heart of Mount Vernon. The jewelry store moved to Mount Vernon from its North Kings Highway location in June, owner K.J. Park said. The store was previously located in the Mount Vernon Plaza shopping center for 26 years before moving to North Kings Highway in 2007. Park decided to move back because the Potomac Square shopping center is located in an area where most of his customers live, he said. The shopping center is located at 8401 Richmond Highway.
