Huntington's proximity to the Metro has proved to be a big aid for new housing developments in the area as they combat a stagnant housing market. Located minutes from Old Town Alexandria, buyers are jumping at the chance to snatch up the homes that escaped the setbacks and cancelations other D.C. Metro developments have faced. Next door to the North Kings side of Huntington Metro, The Courts at Huntington Station properties are well on their way to filling up. With more than 62 percent of their completed units leased, the expected 219 units coming next spring are expected to also fill quickly, with pre-leasing open by January. Huntington Club is in the process of starting redevelopment of its community, as well, FYI. One of suggested the plans included a high-rise with shops/offices/restaurants on the first-floor. What a prime location for improvement!   more ›
