The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced nine films in the category of Best Motion Picture for 2011. They are: Oscar nominations are made weeks before the Golden Globes, so those awards don't influence the Academy's picks. "Hollywood loves movies about Hollywood," said a guest on Today.
