The Huntington Club is a condo complex where each unit is individually owned. The problem for renters is that even if your landlord is as good as can be (as is mine), the Homeowners Association staff makes the place unlivable. The staff here is more interested in harassing residents about violating asinine policies, including the parking requirements then they are about benefitting the quality of life in any way. They are extremely aggressive with towing residents’ vehicles (read: someone is likely getting a kickback from the “contract” towing company), harass my neighbor for planting flowers where they had neglected to landscape, and extremely derelict in basic building repairs. The bottom line is that if the staff were half as interested in improving the quality of life as they are in towing vehicles, then this might be a nice place to live. For potential buyers, don’t even think about it – you’ll also be paying excessive assessments and fees to the HOA to put up with the same B.S.
