Balkan Grill
703-329-3303
Previously the Cosmopolitan, the Balkan Grill has been under its current ownership for about a year, with an expanded menu. In an area full of Chinese and Mexican carry outs, the Balkan Grill finds its unique niche selling Eastern European and Mediterranean foods. The menu is full of dishes from the Balkans, Greece and Turkey as well as a few Middle Eastern items. Sandwich bread is baked fresh and there is a daily surprise special that can't be found on the menu. The very friendly staff offers dishes such as dolmas, borek, falafel, cevapcici, Bosnian burgers, doner kebab sandwiches, kebab platters, a wonderful variety of salads and more. Those preferring the less exotic may order pizza or chicken wings. The dessert menu includes baklava (which is also sold by the pan), kadayif, sekerpare, creme caramel and apple tarts. Food is available for delivery or carry out and there is a counter with stools for eating in. The staff will even work with you on fulfilling your catering needs.

The cevapcici and pljeskavica are fantastic. If you think Five Guys makes the best burger, you haven't had the Bosnia Burger here.
