Little Hunting Creek Clean-Up

Del. Scott Surovell and Supervisor Jeff McKay will host a creek cleanup for Little Hunting Creek in coordination with the Friends of Little Hunting Creek and the Alice Ferguson Foundation Potomac River Cleanup.

Little Hunting Creek and its tributaries are currently listed as impaired streams by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality due to elevated levels of e-coli, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB's), and impaired macro invertebrate environments. It is also significantly polluted with litter.
