West Potomac High School girls and boys cross country teams competed in the VHSL Cross Country Championships on Saturday at The Plains.
The West Potomac Girls' Cross Country Team placed 7th of 16th, with an average time of 19:37. While the West Potomac Boys' Cross Country Team finished 6th of 16th with an average time of 16:36.
The West Potomac Girls Cross Country team was ranked 6th of 16th, and has 5 returning runners from last year, led by All-Region Performers, Sarah Jane Underwood and Dale Lescher. The West Potomac Boys' Cross Country Team was ranked 4th of 16.
