This Week in Football in Alexandria

This week Fairfax County Public Schools students step foot in the halls and classrooms of their schools for the first day of school, but for some of the athletes, they've been waiting to step foot on the football field for the 2013-2014 season.

Many schools started their season last week. Here's what to look forward to in football in Alexandria this week.

Friday 7:30 p.m. West Potomac vs. Fairfax High (@ Fairfax)
Friday 7:30 p.m. Mount Vernon  vs. Herndon (@ Herndon)

Last week, West Potomac lost to Centreville, 51-7 and Mount Vernon lost to South County, 56-7.
