PHOTOS: Spirits High at West Potomac Pep Rally
Cheerleaders and other sports team members celebrate the beginning of a new school year.
A heavy downpour didn't stop the festivities Wednesday night at 's pep rally in honor of the coming school year.
Sponsored by the West Potomac Athletic Booster Club, the event featured cheerleaders, music and the introduction of sports teams. Children and adults feasted on $1 pizza, hot dogs and cotton candy.
The evening ended with a communal "Wobble Dance" and a raffle.
