Tickets now are on sale for the 3rd Annual Community Nutcracker on from Thursday, December 1 through Saturday, December 3, 2011 at West Potomac High School in Alexandria, VA. This holiday tradition is one-of-a kind with a modern twist featuring more than 100 community members performing their full range of talents including ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, swing, hip hop, gymnastics, and lyrical. The performance is directed by Alexandria Dance’s Gennifer Difilippo, West Potomac Dance Academy’s Courtney Betzel and Adrienne Magnunson.

WHO: Directed and choreographed by Alexandria Dance’s Gennifer Difilippo, West Potomac Dance Academy’s Courtney Betzel, and Adrienne Magnunso.
A true community performance, performers are from all walks of life in Alexandria - parents, grandparents, children, teachers, business owners, a local artist, athletes, and dancers.
Local students come from local public and private pre, elementary, middle and high schools including St. Luke’s Day School, Aldersgate Preschool, Hollin Meadows Math and Science Elementary, Fort Hunt Elementary, Waynewood Elementary, Belle View Elementary, Stratford Landing Elementary, Washington Mill Elementary, Browne Academy, St. Louis, St. Mary’s, Carl Sandburg Middle School, Burgundy Farms School and West Potomac High School.
Performances are on:

- Saturday December 3rd at 2:30 PM
