Virginia received an A+, improving on its A grade from 2013. Also scoring high were Utah, Idaho, Texas and Louisiana.

California, Rhode Island and Illinois were the lowest ranked states – each received an F. Connecticut and New Jersey received D grades.

Well, imagine that, all of the "business friendly" states are generally Conservative leaning, while the failures are Democrat run. However, facts won't sway the Democrat policies or change their plans for business growth.

If we are so small business friendly, why is it so hard to get small business on the Rt. 1 corridor?

This is thanks to Gov McDonnell. Wouldn't be shocked if some leave now that we have a democrat gov. If we become like MD, we are in trouble.

Zeviah: And which Dem is this? Conservativegal: I hear you. I left MD due to the "environment". Once a very nice state, is nothing more than a stain on the map in every respect.
