Summer Reading: Not Just for Kids

In our last post, we told you about the Library’s Summer Reading Program for children up to age 18. Well, we don’t want the kids to have all the fun. This summer, the Sherwood Regional Library is hosting its own Summer Reading Program for the grown-ups.

It’s easy to participate: Just pick up an entry form at the library, read or listen to the book of your choice, jot down a couple of sentences about what you thought of it and return your entry form to receive a coupon for one free book from the Friends’ book sale. We’ll do a random drawing for a larger prize at the end of the summer. The program will run until August 31. You may enter as many times as you wish.

Looking for some suggestions? Check out the library system’s blog About Books to get some ideas. And as always, don’t hesitate to ask us at the branch.

We look forward to hearing what titles our customers are enjoying this summer. Happy reading!
