Calling all Homeschoolers!

Is your family a homeschool family?  Are your children between the ages of 7-11 years?  If you answered yes to these questions, you may be interested to know that Sherwood Regional Library (http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/library/branches/sh) will be offering a four-part series for homeschool families in October.

This series is designed to inform homeschoolers about services Fairfax County Public Library has to offer to their families. The library serves as a gateway to a wealth of research and community information. Links to general information on homeschooling may be found at http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/library/research/education.htm#homeschooling.  The series starting on October 7th at Sherwood Regional Library will include basic library instruction as well as instruction on online resources appropriate for school-related projects. Children must be registered for this program series. As parents are an important integral part of the homeschool experience, they are expected to attend with their child or children.

Dates for the program series are October 7, 8, 28 & 29 at 2:00pm.  Registration starts September 23, 2013. Please contact Lori Day at Sherwood Regional Library if you have specific questions about this program (703-765-3645.)
