Of Birds, Bees...and Surveys!

Sherwood Regional Library wants to hear your ideas about what we should offer our community. Please come to a meeting on May 1 at 7 pm to make your voice heard.

Maybe birds and bees and educated fleas don’t do this, but it seems everyone else is. You’ve probably had lots of opportunities to take surveys that provide information to vendors, faith communities, school systems and others for the purpose of improving the services and products they provide.

Fairfax County Public Library also does surveys. In fact, I’m guessing the readers of this blog have been library customers for some time and taken a survey or two. On May 1, at 7 p.m., we will be hosting a meeting in which you can express your views in small groups. We’ll be asking questions about the kinds of programs we should offer, what you like about Sherwood Regional, and what you would change.

Of course, some changes are easy, and some take more time and study. This meeting is a time to collect the thoughts of our community and re-direct our resources to meet community interests.

We are working on an online survey which will be broadly distributed. If you wish, please send an email to Denise Morgan, branch manager, at denise.morgan@fairfaxcounty.gov.  She will be sure you get the link to the survey. In the meantime, come visit Sherwood and see what we’re doing for you!

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
