Wolverines Basketball Season Begins
West Potomac boys and girls basketball teams will take on Mount Vernon High School in a double header Tuesday.
The West Potomac High School girls and boys varsity basketball teams have been gearing up for their season opener against Mount Vernon High School. Last week, the athletes played multiple scrimmages against Wakefield High School and Robinson Secondary.
The first game of the season will be a double header on Tuesday, Nov. 27 at West Potomac High School located at 6500 Quander Road at 5:45 p.m. The girls varsity team will also take on Herndon High School in a home game Friday, Nov. 30 at 7:30 p.m., while the boys varsity team will play against the Hornets in an away game scheduled for the same day and time.
