West Potomac Students Acknowledged in Journalism Contest

More than 1,480 students nationwide participated in this year's contest.

Students at West Potomac High School were recently recognized in the Journalism Education Association (JEA) 2013 Write Off Contest, according to a recent Fairfax County Public Schools news release. The contest took place at the JEA-National Scholastic Press Association (NSPA) spring convention in San Francisco.

Only 108 of 1,480 students received a superior rating in this year's contest, 203 received an excellent rating and 305 earned an honorable mention.
