West Potomac Student Receives Prestigious Award

Molnar recognized for understanding, peacemaking and conflict resolution.

West Potomac High student Pamela Molnar was recently recognized with a Student Peace Award of Fairfax County. Molnar, who is an active participant in the Best Buddies program at West Potomac, was honored for making a substantial contribution to “understanding, peacemaking, and conflict resolution.”

She received a cash award and $100 was donated to an organization or activity of her choice. Molnar will be recognized at a reception in March. Student Peace Awards of Fairfax County are sponsored by 14 organizations, including several faith-based organizations, the Fairfax Partnership for Youth, and the Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution at George Mason University.
