The West Potomac Band Boosters will hold a car wash fundraiser Saturday at .
The car wash is an annual summer event for the Wolverine Marching Band. It will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the elementary school, located at 6701 Fort Hunt Rd.
Students will be accepting donations and meeting with community members. Anyone with questions about the event can contact Steve Larsen at steve@larsendesignbuild.

The Wolverine Band will be performing at all home games for the West Potomac High School football team. The band's first performance will be at halftime on Sept. 7. Other home games include Sept. 21, Oct. 12, Oct. 19 and Nov. 2.
The band will also be performing at the Wednesday of next week.

In addition to playing at-home football games, the band competes at several band competitions in the mid-Atlantic region, earning high marks each year. The drum line and colorguard compete through the winter, as well.
