VBEA named Rebecca Poljac the 2013 VBEA Outstanding New Business and Information Technology Teacher

VBEA recognized Poljac after she made significant contributions toward innovative, new programs and for showing a professional commitment early in her career. Poljac served as department chair and she reactivated the school’s FBLA chapter. She is currently the leader of the CyberPatriot Security Team. Poljac teaches programming, advanced programming, webpage development and business cooperative internship at West Potomac.

VBEA also recognized a teacher at Robinson Secondary School. Cara Lambert — a middle school business and information technology teacher — was named the 2013 Al Roane Middle School Business Teacher of the Year.
