Coaches’ Corner: West Potomac v. West Springfield

The West Potomac Wolverines will take on the West Springfield Spartans Friday, Oct. 26.

This Friday, West Potomac will play against West Springfield at 7:30 p.m. at West Springfield High School at 6100 Rolling Rd.

In preparation for this game, the Wolverines have been working on eliminating penalties and slowing down the Spartans’ rushing attack. Wolverines Head Coach Jeremiah Davis said penalties have hurt them in the past, and the Spartans are very different from Woodson, the team they played last week.

“Last week we played a tough game fighting both the weather and huge penalties to get a hard fought victory over woodson. This week we will be facing a healthier Spartan team,” Davis said. “We will need a total team effort to defeat the Spartans and we have been working very hard in practice to do so.”
