Last year the Easter Egg Roll attracted 30,000 people from 50 states. In previous years, the event has featured live music, sports courts, cooking stations, storytelling and Easter egg rolling on the White House South Lawn.
The White House Easter Egg Roll takes place on Monday, April 9 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The White House is located at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. in Washington, D.C. For more information call (202) 456-7041. Visitors for the Easter Egg Roll will enter through the Ellipse and go through security.
Not going to brave the crowds at the White House this year? Bring the White House to you with the 2012 White House Easter Egg. The souvenir egg should be available soon. Keep an eye out at easter.nationalparks.org.
