Supporters of Hillary Clinton for President Set Up Office in Alexandria

The super PAC "Ready for Hillary" is gathering early support for the former Secretary of State.

President Barack Obama may have a few more years in the Oval Office as the leader of the free world, but pro-Hillary Clinton for President super PAC "Ready for Hillary" is already gearing up for the 2016 election.

Recently, A.J. Dwoskin & Associates, Inc. leased the space next to Tippy's Taco at the Huntington Station shopping center on North Kings Highway. Signs on the walls that read "I'm Ready for Hillary" and "She'll Turn TX Blue" can be seen from the windows. Previously, the same space housed a campaign office for Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.).

According to The Washington Post, paid operatives and volunteers set up the office in Alexandria and influential Democrats have recently written $25,000 checks for the organization and endorsed its efforts. The organization is moving forward, gathering support for Clinton. Now all they need is a definite decision from their possible candidate.

Clinton has not confirmed that she will run in the presidential election in 2016, but many showed their support for her as a candidate in 2008.

Ready for Hillary is currently leading the efforts to urge former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to run for president in 2016. According to its website, the organization is getting an early start in laying the groundwork for her potential candidacy.

The website reads, "We are Americans of all walks of life in all 50 states who are mobilizing so that we are ready for Hillary when she is ready to run."

The website states these reasons for getting ready for Clinton's possible candidacy in 2016:

  • We want Hillary to take the time she needs to make the right decision.
  • Now is the time to activate supporters old and new.
  • Building a national infrastructure of supporters that can be activated the moment Hillary makes a decision needs to start today.
