Mount Vernon District Town Hall Meeting‏

'Fairfax County School Board member Dan Storck will hold a town hall meeting at Whitman Middle School on Wednesday, May 4, at 7 p.m., and will be joined by Superintendent Jack Dale.  Mount Vernon District residents are welcome to attend this meeting, which will focus on Fairfax County Public Schools and the FY 2012 budget.  Topics will also include staff compensation, full-day kindergarten, discipline, honors programs, and other academic programs.  The School Board is scheduled to approve the FY 2012 budget on May 26.'
