Woman Held Up Monday Morning Walking to Her Car

The Walmart in the same area was robbed the night before.

A woman was robbed Monday morning by two men, one of who implied he had a weapon of some kind, at or near the Kings Crossing shopping center, according to a report released Wednesday from the Fairfax County Police.

The robbery took place Monday at 10:16 a.m. in the 6300 block of Richmond Highway, the location of the shopping center; other businesses nearby include a Wells Fargo Bank. The Walmart at that location was robbed less than 24 hours before that, on Sunday night, according to police.

The victim was going to her car when she was approached by two suspects. One suspect implied he had a weapon and both took cash from the victim. There were no injuries.

Police describe the first suspect as a black male, 40s, and about 6 feet tall with a heavy build. The second suspect was described as a black male, 30s, and about 5 feet 7 inches tall with a medium build, police say.
