Woman Charged with Assault on Police Officer in Alexandria

The following are incidents reported in the Mount Vernon District according to the Fairfax County Police's daily activity report, released Monday.
On Saturday, police responded to a call about a noise complaint due to party activity around 11:53 p.m. in the 4100 block of Nellie Custis Court.
According to police reports, officers were gaining voluntary compliance on the noise complaint when another resident tried to interfere and assaulted a police officer.
Kathryn Stallings, 42, was charged with assault on a law enforcement officer.
