WANTED: Here's Photo of Man Missing in Case of Sexual Abuse of Teen

Police say he fled during investigation.

Fairfax County Police are asking for help in their search for a 48-year-old Springfield-area resident who is wanted for a charge of sexual battery of a juvenile.

Ricardo Delgado-Tobar, of Abilene Street, fled from the area after being contacted during the course of the investigation, police said in a news release. Detectives do not know if he is still in the area or, possibly, outside of the United States.

Police said they were called by a Fairfax County high school guidance counselor in February 2014 after a 15-year-old girl had shared information about being sexually assaulted by the suspect numerous times. The victim and suspect are known to each other.
