UPDATE: Customers, Clerk Robbed at 7-Eleven on Huntington Avenue

Three masked robbers held up the store and also robbed customers in a late-night robbery at the 7-Eleven on Huntington Avenue.

UPDATE (Wednesday): Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven at 2305 Huntington Ave at 1:38 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 9, according to Public Information Officer Lucy Caldwell.

Three masked men entered the store, showed their guns and announced the robbery. Customers were in the store at the time of the incident, and suspects took belongings from them as well as cash from the store and fled. No one was injured during the robbery.

Suspects were described as black males, wearing masks and gloves. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Fairfax County Police Department.

Original (Tuesday): The 7-Eleven on Huntington Avenue was robbed Tuesday. The manager of the convenience store — who asked that his name be withheld — confirmed that the robbery occurred, but didn't provide more information about the incident.

Members of the Huntington Community Facebook group posted comments today that a helicopter was circling the area, although it hasn't been confirmed that the robbery was the reason for the helicopter's presence.
