Police: Teen Injured, Robbed of Cell Phone on Richmond Highway

FCPD recently switched from weekly crime reports to daily activity reports. The following information was supplied by the Fairfax County Police Department in their daily report released April 16. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

The following items are from the recent daily activity report from the Mount Vernon Police District of the Fairfax County Police Department.

ROBBERY, 7200 block of Richmond Highway, 4/15/13, 2:40 p.m. A 17-year-old boy reported three black, male, teenagers approached him. They struck him several times and stole his cell phone. The victim was transported to the hospital with apparent minor injuries.

BURGLARY, 2800 block of Popkins Lane, 4/15/13, 4:45 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole several items to included collectible trading cards. Forced entry was made through a window.

GRAFFITI, 8300 block of Brockham Drive, 4/15/13, 6:35 p.m. A resident reported letters spray painted on a power box. The owner has been notified to remove the graffiti.
