Police: Man Arrested for Assaulting a Police Officer
The latest daily activity report provided by the Fairfax County Police Department on Nov. 7. Mentioned arrests do not indicate convictions.
The following are incidents reported in the Mount Vernon District according to the Fairfax County Police's daily activity report, released Thursday.
Assault on Police (red on map), 8 a.m., Nov. 6, 5900 block of Richmond Highway, Police responded for a man allegedly drunk in public and injured from a fall. The man was transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. While at the hospital, the man allegedly assaulted an officer. Daniel Alexander Perez Reyes, 22, was charged with drunk in public and assault on a law enforcement officer.
