Police: Delivery Man Robbed in Alexandria Area

The latest daily activity report provided by the Fairfax County Police Department on Nov 5-6. Mentioned arrests do not indicate convictions.

The following are incidents reported in the Mount Vernon District according to the Fairfax County Police's daily activity report, released Tuesday and Wednesday.

Robbery (green on map), 8:35 p.m., Nov. 3, 2800 block of Fairhaven Avenue, A woman was walking when two men approached her. The first suspect assaulted the victim while the second displayed a gun. The suspects took property from the victim and fled. The victim was not injured.

The first suspect was described as black, 20s, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, thin build with shaved head. The second suspect was described as black, 20s, 5 feet 10 inches tall, thin build and long dread-locks. Police are looking into the possibility that the same suspects may be responsible for a robbery attempt earlier that evening in the 7100 block of Fairchild Drive.
Robbery (green on map), 10:45 p.m., Nov. 5, 8500 block of Towne Manor Court, A food delivery man was parking his car when two suspects approached him. The first suspect displayed a gun and assaulted the victim and both suspects demanded cash. The suspects fled on foot. The victim received minor injuries. The suspects were described as black and in their 20s.
