Police: Beer, Cameras, Vehicles Reported Stolen in Alexandria

The following are incidents reported in the Mount Vernon District according to the Fairfax County Police's daily activity report, released Monday.

Larcenies (red on map):

• 1900 block of Elkin Street, beer from business
• 2300 block of Huntington Avenue, beer and beverage from business
• 8500 block of Old Mount Vernon Road, cell phone from school
• 2500 block of Parkers Lane, license plate from vehicle
• 8400 block of Richmond Highway, cameras and sunglasses from vehicle
• 5600 block of Telegraph Road, merchandise from business

Stolen Vehicles (blue on map):

• 5800 block of Cameron Run Terrace, 2005 Lincoln Town Car
• 8300 block of Claremont Woods Drive, 2001 Mercedes 430S

Fairfax County Police, along with the FBI's Washington Field Office are also investigating a number of robberies at TD Bank.

Local law enforcement believe a suspect now known as the Beacon Hill Bandit was involved in six robberies at the bank on Richmond Highway between March 2010 and October 2013. The last incident was reported on Friday.
