Police: Alexandria Man Arrested, Charged with Sexual Battery

The following are incidents reported in the Mount Vernon District according to the Fairfax County Police's daily activity report, released Tuesday.

Sex Offense (red on map), Fairfax County police responded to a call around 6:40 p.m. Monday in the Huntington area of Alexandria after a woman reported she was inappropriately touched.

The 31-year-old woman was riding a public transit bus in the 2500 block of Huntington Avenue when another passenger touched her inappropriately, according to the recent FCPD daily activity report. The woman exited the bus and called the police. Officers arrested Giovanni Cerros Henriquez, 39, of Alexandria and charged him with sexual battery.
