An intoxicated man threw beer on a bus driver April 25, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

The incident occurred at about 11:20 p.m. on a Fairfax Connector bus as the intoxicated passenger was exiting the bus. The bus was stopped at the intersection of Lockheed Boulevard and Route 1 at the time. Police could not find the intoxicated man.

  • Several businesses were broken into in the 8700 block of Richmond Highway. The break-ins were reported at about 7:20 a.m. April 19. It was not immediately clear what items were stolen and what damage the businesses sustained.
  • A burglary occurred at about 9 p.m. April 21 in the 4800 block of Old Mill Road. The home’s resident reported that someone entered her home and stole cash from her purse. The burglar may have entered the home through an unlocked rear door.
