Man Robbed Inside Restaurant Thursday Afternoon on Richmond Highway

Fairfax County Police report that a man was robbed Thursday afternoon while sitting inside a Richmond Highway restaurant.

The robbery took place in the 7600 block of Richmond Highway Thursday, reported at 4:43 p.m. (There are numerous restaurants in the area; police did not give the exact location.)

The victim was sitting inside a restaurant when two suspects approached him. The suspects assaulted the victim and took cash and property from him.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Responding police officers located the suspects and took them into custody.

Khareem Anthony Joyner, 19, of Woodbridge was charged with robbery and assault. A 17-year-old Alexandria area male was charged with robbery and illegal possession of tobacco by a juvenile.
