Huntington Residents Advised to Park Cars on Higher Ground
Police advise Huntington residents to move their cars before Monday afternoon, when rain and wind from Hurricane Sandy are expected to increase in intensity.
Fairfax County Police are advising Huntington-area residents to park their cars on higher ground before Hurricane Sandy impacts the area with potential flooding.
The following locations are available for parking during Hurricane Sandy:
- Biscayne Drive
- Riverview Terrace
- Fairview Terrace
- Glendale Terrace
- Blaine Drive
Parking is also available in designated parking spaces at Fairfax County Public School parking lots.

Residents may park at the Huntington Metro Station. The cost is $5 per day and you must have a SmarTrip.
