GW Parkway Reopens After Crash
The single-vehicle crash occurred during the early morning hours.
All lanes of the George Washington Memorial Parkway are now open following an early morning crash.
According to the U.S. Park Police, the crash occurred about 2:15 a.m. and involved a single vehicle, which ran off the road and rolled over several times near Collingwood Road. All lanes were closed during the response to the crash.
The driver was taken to Inova Fairfax Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, said police spokesman Sgt. Paul Brooks.
