Bicycle-Car Crash Tuesday Morning on Richmond Highway Lands Cyclist in Hospital
A 22-year-old man from Alexandria was attempting to cross Richmond Highway around 9 a.m. on a bicycle from west to east at Quander Road.
A crash Tuesday morning involving a bicyclist and vehicle on Richmond Highway sent the cyclist to the hospital, according to Fairfax County Police.
A 22-year-old man from Alexandria was attempting to cross Richmond Highway around 9 a.m. on a bicycle from west to east at Quander Road.
A Toyota Tacoma pickup truck was proceeding through the green light.
The bicyclist crossed and was struck. No charges have been placed in the crash; the bicyclist was injured but is alive and is being monitored at a local hospital.
