Animal Control: Two Alexandria Dog Owners Charged with 'Inadequate Care'

The dogs were taken into custody and transported to a local animal hospital for treatment.

On Oct. 1, a Fairfax County Animal Control officer responded to a residence in the 7000 block of Stanford Drive in the Groveton area of Alexandria to check on the welfare of two dogs.

After arriving at the residence, the officer found two dogs that were not being properly cared for by their owners. Both dogs were taken into custody and received treatment at a local animal hospital.

Timothy Parsons, 48, and Kathryn Delozier, 49, were both charged with providing inadequate animal care by owner.
