Best Fourth of July Burger with Secret Sauce

Celebrate America's favorite holiday with this burger recipe.

Independence Day celebrates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. It’s a day of patriotic parades, picnics, concerts, fireworks and of course my favorite: barbeques. So pull out the checkered tablecloth, fire up the grill and look no further for the best homemade burger.

We hold these truths to be self-evident that this is an awesome burger! A good burger is hard to beat. This burger should have the following toppings: lettuce, tomato, pickle, cheddar cheese and a secret sauce.

The sauce is absolutely amazing and makes this burger the best. I adapted a recipe for the sauce from All Recipes. The only substitution I made was to omit the hot sauce (hot sauce to taste), but if you want a little kick, by all means leave it in. I even used the secret sauce on a chicken sandwich and it was excellent. I also used a little teriyaki sauce and garlic powder to add some flavor to the burgers.
