Mount Vernon at Home hosted a fundraising gala at River Farm Thursday evening.

Nearly 200 guests attended the festivities to celebrate the organization's third anniversary and raise funds for the, which enables senior citizens to maintain their independence through offering social events, transportation services, and other essential services.

Sponsors inclued Byrd Design Build Co., Mount Vernon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and UnWined, among many others.
