The Civil War Returns to Historic Huntley

On Saturday, April 5, 1-4 p.m., Historic Huntley will
commemorate its heritage as Camp Michigan--a tenant farm occupied by Union forces
during the winter of 1861-62. Join military and farming re-enactors as they
demonstrate camp life and how civilians coped with soldiers overrunning their
farms.

Enjoy the hilltop view, special exhibits and presentations,
interactive family-oriented activities, tour the grounds and structures, and
discover this site’s evolving place in history.

Suggested donation $5; children 10 and under, free.  Rain or shine.  Light refreshments.  This special event is sponsored by the Friends
of Historic Huntley.  For more
information call Huntley Meadows Park at: 703 768-2525.
