Local Results: How Alexandria Voted on Election Day

Here's a precinct-by-precinct breakdown for the recent Virginia Governor Election in Alexandria.

Voters in the Alexandria area of Fairfax County went to the polls Tuesday to choose a new governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general and local delegates.

Terry McAuliffe, a Democrat, narrowly defeated Republican candidate Ken Cuccinelli after a really close race. Democrat Ralph Northam's win over Republican E.W. Jackson for the lieutenant governor position was one of the first to be announced Tuesday night. Mark Obenshain, the only victorious Republican of the night, won the attorney general position over Democrat Mark Herring.

CAMERON - 166 votes (35.39%) for Ken Cuccinelli; 284 votes (60.55%) for Terry McAuliffe; 19 votes (4.05%) for Robert Sarvis. Total Votes: 469

GROVETON - 151 votes (22.95%) for Ken Cuccinelli; 474 votes (72.04%) for Terry McAuliffe; 32 votes (4.86%) for Robert Sarvis. Total Votes: 657

MOUNT EAGLE - 220 votes (22.87%) for Ken Cuccinelli; 698 votes (72.56%) for Terry McAuliffe; 39 votes (4.05%) for Robert Sarvis. Total Votes: 957
