Two Pieces, Rock Royalty, 'Choose!!', Turkey Train, World Blues ... And More

Two Pieces. Catch an early show, or take your time on that tough commute. Andrew Belle + Leagues perform two shows Friday night. Belle is touring in support of his new album, “Black Bear,” and the single “Pieces.” From $15. 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Friday. Voices on the Stage. The audience at the Workhouse this weekend will get a special preview of the latest work from playwright God’s Boo. Actors will give a staged reading of  “Choose!!” The play centers on a church congregation held hostage. $10. 8 p.m. Saturday. Turkey Train. Thanksgiving is just around the corner and Lake Fairfax Park is offering an early dose of family fun. All Over the Map. Music students and enthusiasts are going to get quite the lesson this weekend. World Blues at George Mason University features music legend Taj Mahal, performing soulful tunes from across the globe with some friends.
