• Today is the Grand Opening celebration for AutoZone in Mount Vernon. There will be refreshments and give-aways from 11:30am to 12:30pm. The store address is 7415 Richmond Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22306.
• In cased you missed it, Fairfax county activistsright before the school board took a vote on several reform initiatives.

• The Mount Vernon United Methodist Church is holding a  on Sunday from 5pm to 7pm to raise funds for a mission trip to Brazil.
